As a Content & Communications Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering communications and marketing activities for Hertzian products. Reporting to the Communications Manager, you will collaborate on content creation, digital channel management, visual asset design, performance tracking, and brand promotion. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative, organised individual eager to develop their skills and grow in marketing and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Content Collaboration & Editing
Collaborate with the Communications Manager to generate content ideas, draft, edit, and proofread engaging copy for blogs, reports, website content, and social media across Hertzian, CustomerXP, and PlayerXP. Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with each brand's tone of voice, messaging, and visual identity.
Visual Content Creation
Design and produce high-quality visual assets for digital channels, such as LinkedIn carousels, Instagram and Facebook graphics and promotional imagery. Ensure all creative assets meet brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all three brands.
Social Media Management & Community Engagement
Manage the social media content calendar and schedule posts across multiple platforms using native management tools. Proactively monitor comments, messages, mentions, and relevant industry conversations, responding appropriately to foster an active and engaging online presence for Hertzian, CustomerXP, and PlayerXP.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
Gather and report monthly performance data across social media, website traffic, email campaigns, and content downloads. Support the Communications Manager by identifying trends, measuring content effectiveness, and providing actionable insights to inform future communications and marketing activities.
Digital Asset & Content Management
Organise and maintain a central library of marketing materials, graphics, branding assets, photography, reports, and other digital content. Ensure all assets are clearly organised, up to date, and easily accessible to support efficient content creation and reuse.
Media, Competitor & Industry Monitoring
Track competitor activity, industry news, media coverage, and emerging trends relevant to Hertzian, CustomerXP, and PlayerXP. Produce clear, concise weekly summaries highlighting key developments, content opportunities, and potential media coverage to support the broader communications strategy.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Managing and scheduling posts across various social media platforms.
- Monitoring channels for engagement, comments, and industry mentions.
- Drafting and proofreading copy for upcoming blog posts, reports, and email campaigns.
- Creating and editing visual assets using design tools to support daily content needs.
- Organising and updating the central digital asset library.

Measuring KPIs
- Engagement & Growth: Increases in social media engagement rates and follower growth across all brand channels.
- Traffic Generation: Measured increase in website traffic originating from social media and email campaigns.
