The Cornwall Chamber of Commerce recently announced the 2026 lineup of Cornwall’s “30 under 30”, celebrating a select group of talented entrepreneurs, innovators, and rising professionals from across the county. Among this year’s winners is Hertzian’s own Christian Dove, our Senior Full Stack Developer and Lead of our Development Team, who has grown with the business for over 8 years.
Christian joined Hertzian shortly after its founding in 2015 at the age of 17, starting as an apprentice. Since then, they have been part of nearly every major milestone in our journey. Over time, they have become a cornerstone of the company, leading projects, supporting the wider team, and helping to ensure everything runs smoothly.
To mark this achievement, we spoke with several team members, including Christian, about what this recognition means.
Hertzian CEO, Christopher Weavill, who nominated Christian, shared: “Christian has been one of our longest-serving employees, starting their time at Hertzian at the age of 17. They are now 26 and have spent their entire career with us, progressing from apprentice to taking on senior responsibilities. I’m thrilled that Christian has received this 30 under 30 recognition, as it is well deserved. They’ve overcome many challenges over the years, and it’s fantastic to see them continue to shine at Hertzian.”
Hertzian CTO and Christian’s direct supervisor, Andrew Husband, added:“Christian is really deserving of the 30 under 30 award. They’re a very dedicated team member who takes great pride in their work. I’m glad to have them in the business.”
Finally, Christian shared their own thoughts:“Winning the Cornwall Chamber’s 30 under 30 was absolutely amazing. Seeing the other winners and nominees and how impressive they all were, I’m extremely proud to call myself one of them. It was an honour to be included in the shortlist of 80, but to be selected as one of the 30 winners is a privilege for which I’m truly grateful.”
Hertzian celebrated its 10th anniversary last year, and since the beginning, we have remained committed to supporting local talent by giving people the opportunity to grow, develop their skills, and build meaningful careers. Seeing one of our own recognised in this way is a proud moment for the entire team and reflects the culture we have worked hard to build.
