What an extraordinary week it has been for us at Hertzian! Our CEO, Christopher Weavill, had the remarkable opportunity to participate in a transformative event at Ireland’s iconic Guinness Storehouse, where he engaged with prominent leaders from the Celtic regions. This gathering was not merely an event; it was a vibrant celebration of collaboration, innovation, and shared aspirations.
Chris described his experience as “a privilege,” and it’s clear why. One of the most inspiring moments was hearing the passionate address by Scottish First Minister John Swinney, who emphasized the significance of collaboration and the bilateral agreement with Dublin. Witnessing such a strong commitment to unity among the Celtic nations was truly uplifting.
The conversations continued to flow! Engaging with Minister Frank Feighan on the intersection of digital innovation and health provided invaluable insights. These discussions underscored how we can harness technology to enhance well-being and spark progress within our communities.
Certainly, the pinnacle of the week was the Interceltic Business Forum VIP dinner. This exclusive gathering united representatives from OpenAI, the Interceltic Forum, and various governmental leaders from Scotland, Ireland, and Wales. It was a unique platform for exploring the tremendous potential that arises when we come together to pursue common goals, particularly in the realm of artificial intelligence.

Chris captured the essence of the week perfectly: “The activities we engaged in showcased the remarkable achievements possible through meaningful collaboration and shared experiences.” This belief resonates profoundly within Hertzian, as we are dedicated to crafting impactful solutions through collective efforts.
We owe a heartfelt thank you to the organizers for curating such a valuable experience! Special thanks go to Charles Kergarat, Allan Mulrooney, Keith James Marin, John O’Loughlin, Jonathan Prescott, Kim McKayed, Shelley Langan-Newton, and the various governmental entities from Scottish Development International, the Scottish Government, the Welsh Government, the Irish Government, the Interceltic Business Forum, and the Western Development Commission.

As we reflect on this extraordinary week, we are inspired by the importance of uplifting and empowering one another. Together, we can pave the way to a brighter future, and we’re genuinely excited to embark on this journey side by side with our partners in innovation
At Hertzian, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of collaboration as a catalyst for change and innovation in our industry. We look forward to actively engaging with leaders and organizations across the Celtic regions to explore fresh ideas and initiatives that can benefit our communities and beyond. Let’s maintain the momentum, continue inspiring one another, and make a lasting difference together!
